About The Muster
Corporate intelligence, clarified.
Hi, I’m Edwin Schofield, the creator of The Muster.
I built this platform out of a simple, persistent frustration: crucial UK corporate data shouldn’t be locked behind a paywall, and it shouldn't be trapped in silos. I was tired of platforms gatekeeping public information and demanding a premium just to see a clear picture of a business.
I wanted a way to see the data, not just read it. I needed a tool that made it genuinely easy to understand a company's structure and instantly map out the complex, often hidden relationships between businesses, charities, and the people who lead them. It struck me that if I was looking for a straightforward, visual way to explore this data, other people must want the exact same thing.
Traditional registries are built to store records; premium platforms are built to extract fees. I built The Muster for the rest of us.
Data You Can Actually See
At The Muster, I believe that data shouldn’t just be read; it should be seen.
I take millions of complex data points and translate them into clean, Professional Intelligence. Instead of digging through files to find out who really pulls the strings, I visualize Persons of Significant Control (PSC) and ownership structures for you. Instead of manually cross-referencing tabs, my Corporate Knowledge Graphs map out an officer's entire career and corporate network on a visual "Spider-Web."
My goal is to give you the complete picture of an entity's health, leadership, and footprint across the UK in seconds, not hours.
Bridging the Gap
For the first time, the wall between the private sector and the charitable world has been pulled down.
The Muster provides a proprietary bridge between Companies House and the Charity Commission. I designed this feature so you can trace an individual’s influence across both registries simultaneously—uncovering where charity trustees hold private corporate directorships and mapping out the full scope of UK leadership.
Proactive Investigation: The Watchlist
Intelligence is only useful if it’s timely. With the Muster Watchlist, I’ve built a tool that moves beyond a simple search engine. You can now save companies, charities, and officers to your private dashboard to monitor status changes, track new filings, and maintain a high-level view of the entities that matter to you.
Verified, Direct, and Unvarnished
Trust is the foundation of intelligence. The Muster does not invent, alter, or rely on outdated, third-party databases.
Every corporate record, filing date, and officer profile you see is pulled directly and dynamically from the official UK Government registries. When you search The Muster, you are looking at the absolute public record: simply presented through a sharper, more intelligent lens.
Welcome to a better way to research.
